The Westin Annapolis, part of HEI Hotels and Resorts, seeks a part-time Line Cook for on-site work in Annapolis, MD. Prepare consistently high-quality dishes, assist in kitchen operations, and uphold food safety and cost controls.

Ideal candidates bring hotel kitchen experience, strong dexterity, and clear communication. Responsibilities include prep, station setup, rotation of perishables, and supporting buffet and service needs as required.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Finger/hand dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start ahead items and avoid over-preparing estimated needs.
• Date and rotate perishables, keep proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use and assist in buffet stocking.
• Return unused items to storage with date on perishables.
• Assist in controlling food cost and waste per standards.
• Operate and clean fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, and other equipment.
• Attend regularly and perform other duties as assigned.
