• Prior cooking experience and knowledge of special diets, cooking times, and temperature controls.
• Communicate and work efficiently with other dietary staff and healthcare staff to ensure accuracy in a fast paced, high stress environment.
• Adhere to all food handling and hygiene practices.
• Accurately estimate quantities of food required to properly reduce waste.
• Prepare restaurant quality, nutritionally balanced and attractively served meals, our goal is to provide the best food and service to our residents.

No long nights in the kitchen! The hours for this position are 6am-2pm.
