Westminster at Lake Ridge is seeking a part-time cook to prepare cold and hot meals for residents in a senior living community in Lake Ridge, VA. The cook will follow production estimates, assist the Sous Chef, and ensure menu items meet ServSafe and health standards.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of culinary experience. Responsibilities include food production, sanitation, and following standardized recipes in a fast-paced kitchen.
$15.19 - $19.62 per hour commensurate with experience

This position is primarily responsible for preparing cold and hot meals utilizing productions estimates listed on the production sheet. Additional duties include assisting Sous Chef or Chef in the cold production of food items for the Nursing Center meals following standardized recipes.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability. Must be proficient in the operation of kitchen machinery and basic cooking utensils.
