The YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking a part-time Lifeguard in Houston, TX. You will maintain safe swimming conditions, enforce rules, perform pool maintenance, and monitor the aquatics area to protect members and children while promoting healthy living.

This role requires current Lifeguard certification (YMCA or Red Cross) and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies. You’ll complete swim assessments during the interview process and participate in trainings as required.

Qualifications

• Current lifeguard certification from a recognized program (YMCA/Red Cross).
• Ability to enforce pool safety rules and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Capacity to monitor pool deck and provide safe, engaging supervision.
