Job summary

The City of Bozeman is seeking a Part-Time Lifeguard I to help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming aquatic environment. This role monitors patrons, enforces pool rules, provides life-saving assistance, and supports customer service and program registrations.

Open shifts include early mornings and evenings as part of a 15-hour work week, with potential weekend expansion as operations grow. Must meet basic lifeguarding prerequisites and maintain CPR/AED/First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Lifeguarding/ aquatics experience is desired but not required.
• Thorough knowledge of swimming and lifeguarding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patrons and enforce pool rules to ensure safety.
• Provide life-saving assistance and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Deliver customer service, process passes, and assist with programs.
