Job summary

City of Lewisville is seeking a Part-Time Lifeguard to enforce safety rules, perform rescues, and assist guests at the city pool facilities. Under supervision of the Aquatic Supervisor, you will report incidents and support staff while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, one year lifeguard experience preferred, and current American Red Cross Waterpark and Lifeguard certificates with CPR/AED and First Aid.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 1 year lifeguard experience preferred.
• Certifications: Red Cross Waterpark, Lifeguard, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Enforces safety rules and regulations.
• Performs rescues and provides aid as needed.
• Maintains good public relations with guests and staff.
