Job summary

The Downtown YMCA is seeking part time enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool! We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers who are interested in becoming lifeguards (we will certify you if you qualify)! The pay range for this position is $15-$17 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Qualified lifeguards will be responsible for the safety of the members and program participants.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years old.
• Current CPR, AED and First Aid certification.
• Lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard) required or available to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of members and program participants at the pool.

Education

CPR, AED, First Aid certification; Lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard)

Oxygen Administration (prefered)
