Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant (Part-time) in McKinney, TX. You will plan and execute engaging activities to enhance residents' quality of life and wellbeing.

You will assist with calendar development, budgeting, and coordinating with outside organizations, while ensuring activities meet residents' needs and preferences. Some oversight of specific enrichment components and resident transportation may be needed.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license is required.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Prefer experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning or demonstrated creative skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs during shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Help ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents.
• Willingness and ability to oversee a specific life enrichment component (e.g., Memory Care) as assigned.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to and from outside events; drive company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
