Job summary

Holland Hospital is seeking a part-time pharmacy technician to assist with medication preparation, counting and distribution under pharmacist supervision. The role supports daily pharmacy operations and strives to maintain high quality patient care within the department.

Responsibilities include responding to medication requests, assisting with unit dose and shelf replenishment, and ensuring proper use of Pyxis systems and pharmacy software. Evening and weekend rotations may occur.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician or Licensed Pharmacist Intern certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Currently enrolled in, or pursuing a degree in a pharmacy-related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in accurate medication selection, counting and preparation (sterile and non-sterile).
• Support pharmacist in medication preparation and distribution as requested by pharmacist, nurse, physician or prearranged work assignments.
• Maintain knowledge of existing pharmacy systems and software to support pharmacy functions.

Education

Licensed Pharmacy Technician or Licensed Pharmacist Intern certification

High School Diploma or GED

Currently enrolled in or pursuing a degree in a Pharmacy-related field
