Job summary

Holland Hospital is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in medication selection, counting and preparation across sterile and non-sterile products. You will assist with patient care, respond to medication requests, and keep up with Pyxis and pharmacy systems.

This role emphasizes accurate compounding, customer service, and efficient unit-dose distribution, while offering a Monday–Friday schedule with some evening shifts. Training will be provided at Holland Hospital.

Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacy Technician or licensed Pharmacist Intern certification required.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Currently enrolled in, or pursuing a degree in a pharmacy-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist in accurate medication selection, counting and preparation (sterile and non-sterile).
Support pharmacist in providing services by responding to medication preparation and distribution requests from staff.
Maintain knowledge of existing pharmacy systems and software to support pharmacy functions.
