Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a part-time Licensed Optician in McDonough, GA to deliver Legendary customer service and craft high-quality eyewear. You will fit and prepare eyewear accurately while advising customers on lens options and promotions.

As a licensed professional, you will leverage technology and product knowledge to meet customer needs, maintain store standards, and support team goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure to dispense eyewear.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service: clear communicator and teammate.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills; awareness of fashion trends.
• Selling skills; able to use an iPad/tablet.
• Familiar with POS, computers and calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions.
• Lead in optical acumen.
• Take and record measurements; ensure fit and standards.
• Assist team with complex needs and prescriptions.
• Use technology accurately under time pressure; maintain product knowledge.
• Multi-task and manage time with competing priorities.
• Aim to achieve KPIs and brand competencies.
• Maintain store appearance; keep area clean and organized.
• Report safety opportunities to management.
