Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• State optician licensure required.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, listening and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and basic math skills.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators; comfortable with new technology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom-fit glasses and place prescriptions precisely in lenses.
• Lead with optical acumen and maintain product knowledge.
• Take and record measurements and adjust eyewear with precision.
• Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Use technology efficiently under time pressure and ensure accuracy.
• Proactively solve issues and drive brand KPIs.
• Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness and organization.
• Report safety opportunities and follow safe work practices.
