Job summary

Apple Tree Dental in Stillwater, MN seeks a part-time Licensed Dental Hygienist to provide preventive and therapeutic care, and to promote patient education. The schedule is highly flexible, with as little as one day a week and opportunities for additional hours.

Responsibilities include prophylaxis, scaling, charting, x-rays, local anesthesia and N2O administration, and collaboration with our dental team to ensure comprehensive care. Minnesota license required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Active Minnesota dental hygiene license in good standing.
• 2-4 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Local anesthesia/N2O certification.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English, Spanish preferred depending on location.

• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapies, including scaling & root planing.
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (N2O) as certified.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with dental providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Join a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality oral healthcare to one of our Community Outreach partners in Stillwater, MN. We are seeking a Part-time Licensed Dental Hygienist to deliver patient-centered preventive and therapeutic care while promoting oral health education.

The schedule is very flexible, as little as one day a week, however, we wellcome additional hours too!
