Job summary

Apple Tree Dental in Fairmont, MN is seeking a full-time Licensed Dental Hygienist to provide patient-centered preventive and therapeutic care while promoting oral health education in the community.

Responsibilities include prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, oral cancer screenings, radiographs, patient education, and collaboration with dental providers to ensure comprehensive care. Active Minnesota license and CPR required; competitive hourly pay and strong benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Active Minnesota dental hygiene license in good standing.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapies, including scaling & root planing.
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Collaborate with dental providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
