Job summary

Apple Tree Dental in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a full-time Licensed Dental Hygienist to deliver patient-centered preventive and therapeutic care while promoting oral health education. You will perform prophylaxis, periodontal therapies, screenings, and x-rays, collaborating with providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Active Minnesota dental hygiene license in good standing.
• 2-4 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Local anesthesia/N2O certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• English communication skills; Spanish preferred depending on clinic location.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapies, including scaling & root planning.
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (N2O) as certified.
• Take and develop dental x-rays; maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety protocols.
• Collaborate with dental providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
