Job summary

Medium in Stillwater, MN seeks a Part-time Licensed Dental Hygienist to deliver patient-centered preventive and therapeutic care. The role offers flexible scheduling, as little as one day per week, with potential for additional hours.

Responsibilities include prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, screenings, charting, anesthesia administration, X-rays, and thorough patient education. Minnesota license, local anesthesia/N2O certification, and BLS CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Active Minnesota dental hygiene license in good standing.
• 2–4 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Local anesthesia/N2O certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English (Spanish preferred).

• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapies, including scaling & root planing.
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (N2O) as certified.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with dental providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

We are seeking a Part-time Licensed Dental Hygienist to deliver patient-centered preventive and therapeutic care while promoting oral health education. The schedule is very flexible, as little as one day a week, however, we wellcome additional hours too!
