Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Active Minnesota dental hygiene license in good standing.
• Clinical experience preferred, but not required.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Local anesthesia/N2O certification and a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapies, including scaling and root planing.
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (N2O) as certified.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with dental providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
