Job summary

Sephora stores in San Francisco are seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to join our team part-time at the Powell Street location. You will perform makeup, waxing, and related beauty services, educate clients, and upsell products while maintaining licensure and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• An active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are being performed.
• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
• Perform beauty services: makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu; stay informed about trends and product knowledge.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork; promote a culture of openness.
• Uphold Sephora standards and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
