Job summary

Sephora Walnut Creek is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients at the Beauty Studio and beyond. You’ll perform makeup, waxing, and other Sephora services while sharing product knowledge to help clients on their beauty journeys.

This role requires an active state license, 1–3 years in a service-driven setting, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Flexible shifts include evenings and weekends; Sephora offers benefits and an employee discount.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state
• 1–3 years' experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build relationships
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Drive results by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products
• Perform beauty services: makeup, waxing, and other listed services; stay informed on trends and product knowledge
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards; ensure health and safety protocols
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork; promote a culture of openness
• Uphold Sephora standards and create a safe, enjoyable shopping experience for all
