The Clapp Memorial Library is looking to fill two part-time Library Technician positions. Library Technicians play a key role in providing customer service to our patrons and assisting with the daily operations of the circulation department. Each part-time position will work about 12 hours per week.
High School education; two years of college work; previous library experience required; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Ability to deal with the public in a courteous and tactful manner and maintain professional demeanor and composure at a busy public service desk. Ability to follow instructions and complete projects with minimal supervision. Previous experience at a library circulation desk strongly preferred.
