Responsibilities

• Handle circulation desk tasks including check-in/check-out and renewals.
• Register new borrowers and update patron records; review accounts for unpaid bills and send notices.
• Assist patrons with computers, catalog, and reference sources available at the library.
• Explain holds, reserves, interlibrary loans, and purchase requests; place holds on items.
• In the absence of library staff, assist pages and volunteers as needed.
• Shelve materials and prepare library for opening; process returns and curb daily operations.
