Job summary

Aims Community College's Kiefer Library in Greeley is seeking a Part-Time Library Technician to support circulation, reserve materials, interlibrary loans, and account management in the Learning Commons. The role focuses on friendly customer service and accurate handling of library duties.

The position requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, plus familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and basic office software.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and familiar with Windows operating software.
• Experience with Google Workspace.
• Experience with spreadsheets (Excel, Smartsheet, or Google Sheets).
• Experience with communication platforms (Slack, Zoom, etc.).
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and handle interruptions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented with data management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to library users at the Circulation Desk.
• Assist with check-out/check-in of items and manage user accounts.
• Assist patrons with basic technology (laptops, hotspots, etc.).
• Process interlibrary loan requests and library materials.
• Send billing notices, manage inventory, displays, and shelving.
• Assist with programming and events in the Learning Commons.
