Responsibilities

• Present a professional, personable and friendly demeanor at the library service desk.
• Answer general reference and circulation questions; assist patrons in use of library resources.
• Perform circulation related tasks including answering policy questions, checking out/in books, room keys, and other circulating resources.
• Assist with supervision of student employees.
• Identify building issues and contact proper departmental personnel.
• Follow library policy and procedures.
• As shift dictates, open/close the library building.
