Job summary

The Town of Needham is seeking part-time Library Page to assist at the Needham Free Public Library. Schedule: 16 hours per week, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 9 am–1 pm. Duties include shelving, retrieving materials, and packing items for deliveries.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of alpha-numeric shelving order.
• General knowledge of standard office forms and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Shelve library materials (books, AV materials).
• Retrieve items from shelves using lists/reports.
• Empty book drop materials returned to the library.
• Pack bins with library materials for deliveries.
