Responsibilities

• Perform tasks such as checking in, inspecting, alphabetizing, shelving, and straightening of materials to ensure ready access to the collection on library shelves.
• Maintain the appearance of public areas by collecting and re-shelving materials with a push cart.
• Inspect labels to ensure correct Dewey Decimal shelving.
• Provide directional service to customers as needed.
