Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent library customer service at public service desks.
• Assists customers with circulation, ready reference, readers’ advisory, and digital content.
• Instructs users in the use of technology and library resources and programs.
• Checks materials in/out, renewals, holds, and fines processing.
• Balances cash drawer and handles deposits as assigned.
• Responds to inquiries in person or by phone and routes appropriately.
• Sorts, shelves, and repairs materials; keeps shelves orderly.
• Manages study room reservations and related duties.
• May supervise volunteers in the absence of staff.
