ExploreElginArea is seeking a part-time Customer Relations Assistant for our Main Library in Elgin, IL. The role focuses on delivering excellent service, guiding customers through circulation tasks, and promoting library programs with a positive attitude.

You will work as part of the Customer Relations Department, handle registrations, answer questions, and help visitors find resources while maintaining a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Circulation services including check-in/check-out, renewals, holds, and registering library cards.
• Provide information, answer questions, and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
