Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Customer service skills and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of library practices and procedures.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Checks library materials in and out using automated system.
• Maintains patron records, including issuing library cards and collecting fines.
• Answers telephones and directs patrons to appropriate area.
• Responds to reference and reader’s advisory questions, including holds on material.
