Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology (SHSST) in Franklin, WI is seeking a part‑time Library Circulation Assistant (20 hours per week). The role supports circulation, ILL, and collection maintenance, delivering friendly service to students, faculty, clergy, and visitors.

Under the Digital Services Librarian, you will assist with patron services, shelving, and basic administrative tasks while contributing to a welcoming educational environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check library materials in and out (including book drop and delivery bin materials).
• Create new patron cards and manage holds and online requests.
• Print paging slips and retrieve requested books; assist patrons with library equipment.
• Monitor ILL requests and returns; prepare interlibrary loan requests and mailing.
• Process new books: barcodes, labels, jackets, and shelf marks; manage course reserves.
• Maintain serials and call numbers; shelf accordingly; assist with daily administrative tasks.
