Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking a student assistant for library services, supporting circulation and reference desks, and helping patrons with computers and printers.

Qualifications

• A student enrolled in at least six hours.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to work afternoons and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Circulating library materials using the computer system.
• Assisting students, faculty, and staff on the telephone and in-person.
• Answering incoming telephone calls and providing information on library services.
• Redirecting telephone calls with reference questions to librarians.
• Staffing the Circulation and Reference desks.
• Assisting patrons with printers and computers.
