Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center invites applications for a part-time Student Assistant to support library operations, help patrons, and circulate materials. You will assist students, faculty, and staff by phone and in person, answer reference questions, and help with printers and computers.

Qualified applicants are enrolled in at least six hours, with preference for prior customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in at least six hours.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Circulating library materials using the computer system.
• Assisting students, faculty, and staff on the telephone and in person.
• Answering incoming calls and providing information on library services.
• Redirecting calls with reference questions to librarians.
• Staffing the Circulation and Reference desks.
• Assisting patrons with printers and computers.
