Job summary

Fiske Public Library in the Town of Wrentham is seeking a part-time Library Aide-Circulation. The role focuses on customer service, checking materials in/out, registering patrons, and responding to inquiries.

You will assist with organizing and shelving, and support various circulation tasks under the Circulation Supervisor. Evening hours and some Saturdays are required; compensation is $16.50–$17.00 per hour for up to 14 hours weekly, with a non-benefit, non-union status.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required; public library experience desirable; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Highly proficient computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Check library materials in and out.
• Register new patrons.
• Respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and online.
• Organize, sort, and shelve library materials.
• Assist with various circulation duties under supervision.
