Job summary

Teton County Library is seeking a part-time Library Assistant to join the Access Services team in Jackson. You will circulate materials, assist patrons, and help users locate resources both at public service desks and behind the scenes.

You will handle holds, check in/out, and resolve account issues while providing friendly, bilingual service when possible; evening and weekend hours are required on occasion.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of customer service or general office experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of library policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with library programs and displays.
• Assist patrons with online resources and computer devices.
• Answer directional questions and refer patrons to staff.
• Access and retrieve information for patrons and staff.
• Perform clerical work and maintain records.
• Support confidentiality and courteous service.
