Job summary

Play-Well is seeking part-time LEGO instructors in Danbury, CT to teach after-school and camp programs. You will lead classes that explore STEM concepts using a wide range of LEGO materials, encouraging creativity and problem solving.

The role emphasizes safety, engagement, and clear communication with parents. Prior teaching experience is preferred; reliable transport and ability to lift materials are required as you support students across multiple sessions.

Qualifications

• Teaching/Instruction experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation a must; secure location to store teaching materials.
• Lift up to 40 lbs to store and transport materials; bending, stooping and crawling with children during class instruction.
• Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach LEGO classes and camps introducing STEM concepts.
• Manage each class session ensuring children are safe, engaged and having fun.
• Communicate with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful and tactful manner.
