Job summary

Play-Well TEKnologies is seeking smart, creative LEGO instructors to lead LEGO classes and camps for kids, introducing STEM concepts through hands-on building and play. The role offers part-time afternoons during the school year and half/ full-day camps in summer, with compensation for teaching, setup, travel time, and training.

Instructors ensure safety and engagement, communicate with parents, and complete required training.

Qualifications

Teaching/Instruction experience is preferred.
Reliable transportation a must; secure location to store teaching materials.
Lift up to 40 lbs to store and transport materials; bending, stooping and crawling with children during class instruction.
Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Manage each class session, ensuring the children are safe, engaged, and having fun.
Communicates with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful and tactful manner.
Adheres to Play-Well safety procedures and supervision/release of children.
Care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kit(s).
Responds quickly to communications from management, whether by phone, text, email or mail.
Regularly communicates with Area Manager with questions, concerns and updates.
