Job summary

Play-Well TEKnologies in Hartford, CT is seeking a part-time LEGO Instructor to engage children with hands-on activities and age-appropriate lessons.

The role involves managing classes, ensuring safety, and maintaining teaching materials while communicating with parents. A background that includes teaching experience and reliable transportation is preferred, with a commitment to safety and group management.

Qualifications

• Teaching/Instruction experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation to store teaching materials.
• Lift up to 40 lbs to store and transport materials; bending and crouching during class.
• Must pass all background checks.

Responsibilities

• Manages each class session, ensuring the children are safe, engaged, and having fun.
• Communicates with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful and tactful manner.
• Adheres to all safety procedures and supervision/release protocols for children.
• Care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kit(s).
• Responds quickly to communications from management (phone, text, email, or mail).
• Regularly communicates with Area Manager with questions, concerns and updates.
