Job summary

Arcan Capital is seeking a friendly Leasing Consultant to serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents. You will guide applicants from inquiry to move‑in, coordinate applications and background checks, and ensure a smooth lease process with on‑site teams.

You will highlight community amenities, conduct tours, address resident questions, and help with renewals while fostering a welcoming environment. A high school diploma and customer service orientation are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with MS Office applications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide property tours and answer inquiries
• Guide prospects through the application process
• Process applications and coordinate background checks
• Prepare lease agreements and move-in documents
• Ensure move-in readiness and coordinate inspections
• Deliver excellent resident service and handle renewals
• Maintain accurate resident records and respond to inquiries promptly
• Stay informed on market trends and nearby properties
• Support community events and resident engagement initiatives
