Bender Companies in Madison is seeking a dynamic Leasing Consultant to join our on-site team at one of our apartment communities. This part-time role (approx. 15-20 hrs/week) focuses on maintaining high occupancy by guiding prospects through the leasing process and delivering excellent resident service.

You will need strong sales and communication skills, knowledge of local leasing laws, and a customer-first approach. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to serve diverse residents.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Leasing Consultant or sales role.
• Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Customer-first mindset with ability to build rapport quickly.
• Strong understanding of local leasing laws and fair housing.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Professionally present available apartments via tours, calls, and emails.
• Collaborate with Community Manager to attract and qualify tenants.
• Market vacancies using online listings, social media, signage, and events.
• Clearly communicate features, pricing, availability, and terms.
• Guide prospects from inquiry to signed lease, ensuring policy compliance.
• Stay updated on local rental market trends.
• Perform routine inspections of model units and vacant apartments.
• Assist with resident retention, events, and customer service.
