Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a part-time Community Assistant/Resident Assistant for Plaza Verde Phase II in Irvine, CA. You will support leasing activities, provide excellent resident service, and help maintain safety and community standards.

The role requires a degree or certificate in progress, adaptable hours including evenings and weekends, and active participation in Turn/Move-In/Move-Out processes while delivering a welcoming, inclusive living environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate, Bachelor's, or Associates degree or diploma in progress from an accredited college or university.
• Maintain a minimum GPA and class load as determined by the property management guidelines.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filling and leasing bed spaces, conduct tours, and follow up with prospects.
• Work structured admin shifts at the reception/leasing office and on-call shifts.
• Support Turn, Move-In, Move-Out processes and prepare related documentation.
• Provide customer service to residents and parents and act as a resource about ACC and local community.
