American Campus Communities is seeking a Receptionist for Plaza Verde in Irvine, CA. The role is full time, based on-site, and reports to the Resident Experience Manager. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $19.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering calls, relaying messages, providing directions, managing mail and coordinating office supplies. This is a front-desk customer service role at a vibrant campus‑style community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming on-site visitors and announcing visitors to appropriate personnel.
• Operating a multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers.
• Taking and delivering messages or transferring calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
• Answering questions about the organization and providing callers with address, directions and other general information.
• Updating travel calendars as needed; receiving, sorting and routing mail.
• Ordering, receiving and maintaining office supplies.
