Job summary
A leading educational institution seeks a part-time Learning Support Assistant to provide support to the Learning Support Department. Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Office Technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Two years related occupational experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency/experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Responsibilities
- Assist with intake of new ELL and GED students.
- Create TABE tickets and assist students with registration paperwork.
- Point of contact for ELL or GED/HSED inquiries.

Overview
Position provides support to the Learning Support Department, oversees day-to-day activities supporting ELL and GED/HSED activities. Assist in the Learning Center with GED/HSED students, and testing AEFL students. Position will provide support in the afternoon and early evening hours. Role will average 24 hours per week August - May, and then have reduced hours during summer.
This position will be open until filled, with a first review date of June 23, 2025. After this date, the recruitment may close without further notice. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

- Ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Experience or familiarity with post-secondary education.
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills
Education & Experience:
- Associate Degree in Office Technology or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Two years related occupational experience.
- Microsoft Office Suite certification or demonstrated proficiency/experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook.)
