This position is the first and last touchpoint with clients, so it is a very important role to the success of the studio. SUMMARY:

The Customer Support Associate is a liaison between our studios and current and potential customers; creating the ultimate client experience. Our Customer Support Associates must create an impression of warmth, professionalism and efficiency. The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively solving customer issues, complaints and inquiries; keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls; dealing with subsequent inquiries and bookings in a timely manner.
  • Follow “scripts” when scheduling appointments and handling different topics.
  • Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
  • Provide product and service information to customers.
  • Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise.
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
  • Confirm all client appointments.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Coverage of shifts in short-notice/emergency situations (sickness, etc.)
  • Customer contacts and rescheduling if needed.
  • Participate in defined community outreach requirements (volunteerism)

ROLE SCOPE AND COMPLEXITY:

The Customer Support Associate reports directly to Customer Support Lead and indirectly to all members of ownership and is accountable for all aspects of front desk operations. The Customer Support Associate is accountable for meeting established customer service standards focusing on both internal customer (staff, volunteers, interns, vendors) and external customer (current clients and all potential customers).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Team player within team environment
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Detail Oriented
  • Located in the Minneapolis, MN or LaCrosse, WI area
Preferred:
  • Previous Customer Service experience
  • Experience in Beauty Industry
