Wesley Woods Senior Living is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents in our long-term care setting, following standardized recipes and diets. You will lead food prep, ensure timely service, and maintain clean, sanitary kitchen practices.

Required: high school diploma, 2 years institutional cooking, English literacy, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Shifts are 7 AM–3 PM or 9 AM–6 PM with alternating weekends; benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of institutional cooking experience.
• Read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; bend, stoop and twist.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals according to standard recipes and diets.
• Lead food preparation and ensure timely service.
• Serve meals according to menus and distribution plan.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
• Inventory and restock as needed.
