Wesley Woods Senior Living in the Georgia area is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents in long-term care or assisted living. You will lead food preparation under supervision, following recipes and diets, and ensure timely service with a focus on safety and sanitation.

The role requires reading and following instructions in English, a high school diploma, and at least two years of institutional cooking experience, including ability to handle up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in institutional cooking, preferably healthcare.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals per standard recipes and menus with proper equipment and temperatures.
• Collects supplies and ingredients necessary for meals and stores items safely.
• Serves meals according to menus and distribution plan; coordinates functions and catering when needed.
• Maintains a clean, sanitized kitchen area and reports inventory deficiencies.
• Collaborates with team to ensure efficient service and adherence to safety standards.
