Job summary

Wesley Court in Boiling Springs, SC is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Cook to prepare and serve meals in accordance with menus while upholding strict food-safety standards. You will ensure nutritionally appropriate options for residents and assist in maintaining high-quality meal service.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a passion for working with seniors, and prior dining experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and professional appearance are expected.
• Flexible, energetic personality essential for long shifts.
• Demonstrated passion for working with seniors.
• Minimum one year of cooking experience in large-scale operations preferred.
• Prior dietary experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to the menu and portion control.
• Monitor food handling, preparation methods, meal service, and equipment cleaning.
• Provide nutritionally appropriate meals to residents to support health.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations on nutrition and food safety.
