Camelot Nursing & Rehab is hiring a Laundry Assistant for part-time shifts. The role involves loading items into washers and dryers, sorting by ID, and ensuring items are laundered safely. Training on policy-based soaks, ironing, and machine maintenance is provided.

Strong attention to infection control and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. We offer PTO after 30 days, premium holiday pay, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 yearly, wage access after shifts, 401(k) with company match

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must maintain a working email and phone number.
• English communication in writing and verbally.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk long periods.
• Able to read equipment manuals.
• Understand infection control procedures.
• Computer and phone use for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Loads articles into washer and dryer.
• Soaks contaminated articles as per policy.
• Sorts dried articles by ID and type; bins.
• Lubricate machines.
• Mends torn articles; counts items.
• Iron required items.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
