Rose City Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility in Lancaster, PA. The Laundry Assistant will perform a variety of laundry, cleaning, and organizing duties to help maintain a clean and comfortable environment for our residents.
Place soiled facility or resident personal linen in the washing machine.
Fold or hang resident personal linen and transport and distribute it to residents' rooms.
Hang resident clothing in closets and place clothing in drawers.
Maintain an organized and efficient laundry area.
Follow facility laundry procedures and applicable safety and infection control practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Previous experience in laundry, cleaning, maintenance, or a related field preferred.
Familiarity with OSHA and state regulations applicable to nursing facilities.
Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
