Rose City Nursing and Rehab in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility. The Laundry Assistant will perform a variety of laundry, cleaning, and organizing duties to help maintain a clean and comfortable environment for our residents.

We offer a full-time position for 2:30 PM–10:30 PM with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits as described. Experience in laundry or related fields preferred and OSHA/state regulations knowledge is

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry, cleaning, maintenance, or a related field.
• Familiarity with OSHA and state regulations applicable to nursing facilities.
• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.

• Place soiled facility or resident personal linen in the washing machine.
• Fold or hang resident personal linen and transport and distribute it to residents' rooms.
• Hang resident clothing in closets and place clothing in drawers.
• Maintain an organized and efficient laundry area.
• Follow facility laundry procedures and applicable safety and infection control practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
