Job summary

Heritage Village of Waterville is seeking a part-time Laundry Attendant to maintain linens and garments to high standards within a skilled nursing environment. The role supports resident care by ensuring clean textiles and a welcoming atmosphere.

The position offers a starting pay of $13.50 per hour with a schedule of four 8-hour shifts per week (6am-2:30pm) and an every-other-weekend rotation. Flexible options include Part Time and PRN, with benefits described by the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry services or housekeeping preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols while handling laundry.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments.
• Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies.
