Job summary

AoPS Academy in Irvine is seeking a Part-Time Summer Language Arts Instructor to lead small classes of up to 16 students using our curriculum. The role is in-person with after-school hours and weekend availability.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree; education or humanities background is strongly preferred. Ideal candidates have strong reading, writing, and grammar knowledge and prior K-12 teaching or tutoring experience. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in relevant field.
• Education or humanities background strongly preferred.
• Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and grammar.
• K-12 classroom teaching or tutoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Engaging Curriculum using AoPS materials.
• Engage students through active, student-led learning.
• Manage up to 16 students per class.
• Grade tests and provide feedback on assignments.
